Tessier
Associates serves as management and leasing entity for the Grove Arcade,
a fully restored historic building in Downtown Asheville. The Grove
Arcade offers extraordinary office and residential opportunities on

After
two years planning and consulting with the Johnson City Development
Authority, Tessier joined Urban Redevelopment Alliance, LLC (URA)
to plan and develop major areas of downtown Johnson City. With eleven
historic buildings under contract through various investors, URA will
redevelop and revitalize Tipton Street and subsequent areas as part
of a downtown master plan that includes development of a new town
square. Tessier Associates serves as a managing partner of URA.

Urban
Capital, LLC, a group of area investors, purchased and annouced multi-million
dollar renovation plans for the former First Union building located
at 82 Patton Avenue on Pritchard Park in downtown Asheville. Chuck
Tessier, president and owner of Tessier Associates, Inc., and John
Rogers, FAIA, principal of Rogers Chenevert Architects will serve
as managing partners for the development. The eight-story property
includes approximately 60,000 square feet on eight floors with parking
available at the rear of the building. Over the next year, Urban Capital
will renovate and convert the building to include office condominiums,
ground floor retail and a rooftop terrace restaurant with exceptional
views. Office condominiums will be organized and available in sizes
ranging from 1200 square feet to 6200 square feet for a full floor.
Multiple floors may be combined for a single business. The upper floors
will feature exterior balconies overlooking the park, which will be
available for common use by the tenants of each floor. The ground
floor will be converted to a concourse connecting Patton Avenue and
Pritchard Park to multi-level parking at the rear of the building.
The concourse is expected to feature retail shops and a restaurant.

When
BOC Enterprises of Asheville determined to expand their facility at
48 Grove Street in downtown Asheville, Tessier Associates was contracted
as development coordinator of the project. The newly expanded 28,000
square foot center was constructed around on-site existing tenants,
incorporating new construction with rehab of an older property to
Class A office space with expanded on-site parking. Tessier coordinated
planning and development, as well as providing marketing, brokerage
and property management services.
